Kathy stresses the importance of approaching your health and fitness with a long-term attitude in mind - ask yourself "how will my actions today affect me in 10 or 20 years and how do I want to feel then?"... After taking a lot of clients grocery shopping, Kathy also saw the need for a 'safe refuge' for people to shop for health products for their entire home, without being mislead by clever marketing, uncertain ingredients or vague nutritional panels. She founded The Healthy Household in 2016, an online health store where every product is meticulously screened for ethical, sustainability, value and human-chemical safety so you are assured that anything you purchase will support your good intentions of creating a healthier, less toxic environment for yourself, your family and your home.
Kathy has a strong passion for people who need help to rehabilitate and improve their mobility and strength, whether it is related to poor posture, an accident or improving sporting performance or overall functional strength. Kathy has had personal experiences in all of these areas, from rehabilitating herself completely from major injuries to her spine, hip and knee; 'getting back into shape': properly improving pelvic floor/postural mobility after having children; training for and drastically improving efficiency and performance in sporting dedications, having had competed and placed in many endurance and bodybuilding events. Kathy can help you become aware of how the body works in balance and where imbalances may be occurring which may be in a place you may not have even considered, then work with you to correct these in order to improve the entire physical function of your body. In her own time Kathy enjoys strength training, yoga, cycling, gardening and exploring the outdoors with her family and playing with her kelpies. She is studying Complementary Medicine to add to her large list of on-going health-dedicated studies undertaken over the past decade, so she continues evolving her passion to help others more effectively reach their long-term health and happiness goals.
