I absolutely LOVE working on training and nutrition programs for clients, working alongside different training requirements, taking into account someone's existing physiology and mindset and tweaking along the way. I communicate with my clients throughout their journey of progress to make sure we are on the right track always and keep tweak, tweak, tweaking as progression occurs.
A typical situation is an initial 1.5hr consultation where we go through a comprehensive medical history and lifestyle questionnaire, and do your Biosignature then discuss your goals (or help you to define, set and categories them), then write you up a nutrition and fitness program for 4 weeks.
We meet every 4 weeks to do your Biosignature measurements and touch base about how your motivation, goal setting headspace and commitment is travelling and where your head is at with regards to adhering to your nutrition and fitness goals. We use Biosignature and discussion to tweak nutrition and reassess training for the following 4 weeks, which by then most people are more than ready for a new plan (just ask pretty much all of my clients already!). So, we define your next 4 weeks of goals then I write up your next training plan to give your body a new set of challenges.
This happens every 4-6 weeks, follow up consults usually take around 30-45mins so it is a small investment for a massive ongoing result, alongside ongoing support throughout these blocks of time. My prices and timeframes and my attitude is transparent (read: no BS, no fads).
Another scenario is for individuals e.g. athletes with rather insane amounts of training - we do Biosignature and check ups every 2-4 weeks and tweak tweak tweak as we go. Based on your individual requirements and size of your goals, this determines how often you feel comfortable and motivated to do repeat measurements and visits - I can help you to determine the best bang for YOUR buck situation for YOU.
I do these sorts of program combos for all types of people ranging from fat loss and improved health goals or recovering from illness, through to endurance or bodybuilding athletes, including those wanting to bulk and lean up. I also love females who want to achieve that hot, sexy and toned look, it is right up my alley!
PM me if you would like to organise a consult and get started on the journey of leading a healthier fitter, happier, sexier, more energetic life and feel really, really, ridiculously good looking...
ANYONE can make a transformation. Our physiology enables us to do this, once the headspace allows. It is up to you to make a start, believe you deserve it and then ask for help - if you think too much and have a habit of self sabotaging then talking yourself out of something (often with regret or uncertainty) yet you secretly wish you could do it then try to "fake it til you make it" and ring cold turkey when your hand moves towards the phone against your head pleading you yet again you not to. Or, if it helps to think more about it, so much that you find you become completely obsessed with the dream and you can't NOT do it nor can you sleep any longer thinking about it, then call me!
If you want more information or to discuss any uncertainties, or wonder what the hell I am talking about here, feel free to PM or call me under no obligation whatsoever. I am always more than happy to chat about this sort of thing with a paper bag over my head, under water...
If you get bloating, gas, burp, fart or don't poo at least once a day then something is up with your gut.
These symptoms are NOT normal and you should not have to deal with them especially on a daily basis. It is worth writing out a food diary on days when you have any of these symptoms (days leading up to the symptomatic episode are important too) and then assessing common foods which might irritate or getting a nutritional practitioner / health coach to help you to assess and detect. Although sometimes we need to dig deeper as offending foods may often be causing symptoms from a build up over time. For exmaple, if you are gluten intolerant, even just a little bit of gluten the size of a fingernail can cause reactions and internal destruction to the body for up to 90 days afterwards. It doesn't just affect the gut either. Different symptoms for different people.
All too often I get people saying to me "I don't get affected by any foods, I can eat whatever I want!", yet a lot of these people can't seem to shift stubborn fat or are on antidepressants, feel fatigued or burp or fart etc... not realising what feeling GREAT actually feels like because they may not have ever felt it before, especially if they are so used to having a subtle ongoing symptom, which is often assumed normal or hereditary.
Please listen to your body! For example, if you find it hard to drop fat, build muscle, stay active, stay awake, get to sleep, feel happy, or if you DO in fact burp, fart, get bloated, don't poo regularly etc, then these are some of the many signs indicating a potential issue that needs to be addressed. Usually problems manifest within and can go on for years and come out through other greater symptoms later which can be avoided through working through the right foods for the right individual, eliminating intolerances, improving gut, improving aspects of lifestyle and testing the balance of mineral and nutrient health.
Please think about your current state of health - be wary of symptoms that you assume are "normal" and take preventative action now. You don't grow out of things, they most likely will manifest in some shape of form and you will be reminded of it later down the track...
