We are rapidly transitioning towards another new year, phew! Hopefully you have started thinking about what you would like to achieve for 2017 and regardless of your plans be sure to include some downtime and rewards for all the efforts you put in as well as to get you through any tougher times and avoid exhaustion.
It has been a massive year for me, including studying naturopathy, health coaching, starting an online health shop, adopting another dog, adapting to living in a new state, being a mum with toddlers and battling my own set of health issues. I have not been very communicative in the social media world this year, and although I have missed you this was a choice I made after acknowledging a need to be more present in my own world with my own family. I am extremely grateful for the year I have had and I am also passionate about practicing what I preach (improve equilibrium = improve happiness / health = improve vigour to achieve goals) so my focus on being more present has helped me to evolve into an even better coach.
My coaching philosophies have evolved significantly over the past decade, from focusing on enhancing fitness or fat loss goals using a ‘more training, less calories’ approach; to coaching real-life people how to improve their 'whole health and happiness' situation and achieve their goals whilst still acknowledging their real-life challanges. My job and passion is to integrate your goals into the logistics of your world and provide a refreshing and rewarding solution that is sutainable long-term.
My health coaching solutions are based on stripping your concerns down to basics and provide realistic strategies to progressively re-educate and transition you (e.g. how/what/when to eat or exercise or how to do your grocery shopping, based on what you can realistically manage). You receive customised guidelines that are specific to making immediate changes and tell you exactly what to do, as well as for making changes into your future even after you complete your journey with me. I take pleasure in providing plenty of health and lifestyle 'hacks' to make it easier to become the change you want to be. I also take into account others living at home so everyone has the opportunity to benefit, and in turn they can support you more. My strategies are empowering, encouraging and empathetic.
